The channels in the Marina Martinique are often used for swimming events, and is sure to be a fun day for competitors and spectators.
For those that relax with the ambience of the waves and a fishing rod in the hand, one of the best fishing spots is just around the corner.
Milkwood is just 1 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes from beach style restaurants, 5 minutes drive from the shopping mall, and 45 minutes away from Port Elizabeth Airport.

The Area
Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Great local restaurant that renowned one of the top restaurant in South Africa “Walskipper”.
There’re a few restaurant that I’ve tried myself and would like to recommend to you.
1. Walskipper. Only walking distance from Milkwood and you know that’s the most famous one in J’Bay. One of a kind that you must visit.
2. Tapas. Also walking distance from Milkwood with a big fire place in the middle of restaurant. Interesting decoration and fresh seafood.
3. De Viswijf Restaurant. Make sure to visit a wine tasting held every months, while enjoying their gourmet foods. The friendly and professional personality of the owner will only add to your experience.
4. Kitchen Windows. Excellent foods and great service. All of the foods there are amazing! What a creative dishes.
5. Catch of the day. Very reasonable price of seafood (and sushi). Nice wooden fires to keep you warm. Try to be there on Thursday for their special buffet. It’s awesome! You might need to make RSVP.
6. Nina’s Marina. Also walking distance in Marina Martinique. Nice water view and great playground, with water activities available in the Marina Water Channel.
7. Nina’s Real Food. Great place to hangout and meet up. They have incredible curry night on Monday. Please don’t miss. Their other foods on menu also very tasty.
8. The Greek. Are you hungry? The Greek offers delicious fish, steak, and prawn dishes in large portions at very reasonable prices.
9. J’Bay Bru Co. This place never stop putting ideas. Either on foods, drinks and atmosphere. You’ll blend-in into their imagination of their style. Lots of joy there.
10. Infood deli. Very fresh bread, nice coffee. Lots of heathy options and bakeries. Great place to buy some stuffs back home from your trip as well.
J’Bay is an international BEST surfing beach. Lots of activities all year round. Cozy town, varieties of unique shops, restaurants, and of course the Billabong factory on our doorstep. I love this town so much!
You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.
